Bramblewood Lawn & Yard

Sharp lawns.Same crew, same day, every week.

Family-run lawn care for Prince George and the Tri-Cities since 2014. A text the evening before every visit, and the owner quotes every yard himself.

Started with one mower and a borrowed trailer.

Wes Harlan started Bramblewood in 2014 with one mower and a borrowed trailer. He still walks and quotes every yard himself, and works on the crew most days.

The crew is small, four people, and the same crew visits the same yards each week.

  • Same crew, same day every week, March through November.
  • A text the evening before every visit.
  • Rained out? The crew comes the next dry day.
  • No long contract. Cancel with 30 days’ notice.

Everything a yard needs, March to November and beyond.

  1. Weekly mowing

Mowed on the same day every week, with clean stripes where the lawn allows.

  2. Edging and trimming

Crisp edges along walks, drives and beds; trimming around fences, trees and posts.

A crew member on a stand-on mower, seen from behind, laying fresh light and dark stripes across a front lawn in morning mist
Close-up of a string trimmer cutting a sharp edge where the lawn meets a concrete sidewalk, grass clippings flying
  1. Leaf cleanup

Leaves blown, mulched or hauled off lawns and beds.

  2. Mulching

Beds weeded, edged and topped with fresh hardwood mulch.

A crew member with a backpack blower, back to the camera, pushing a wave of orange autumn leaves into a pile at golden hour
Gloved hands spreading dark hardwood mulch around trimmed boxwoods, with a wheelbarrow of mulch beside a freshly edged lawn
  1. Aeration and overseeding

Core aeration plus seed, best in early fall.

  2. Hedge trimming

Shrubs and hedges shaped and clippings hauled away.

  3. Spring and fall cleanups

Beds cleared, debris removed, first or last cut of the season.

  4. Gutter clearing

Gutters and downspouts cleared on one- and two-story homes.

Winter: mowing season runs March through November. From December to February the crew does cleanups, leaf removal and gutter clearing only.

Drag the line. See the difference a visit makes.

After: the same front yard mowed in clean stripes, edges cut sharp along the walk and curb, fresh dark mulch and shaped boxwoods
Before: a brick ranch house with an overgrown, weedy front lawn, grass spilling over the sidewalk and shaggy shrubs
Front yard: mow, edge and trim, beds weeded and mulched, shrubs shaped.
After: the same backyard with every leaf cleared, the lawn mowed and the beds along the house clean
Before: a fenced backyard in autumn with the whole lawn buried under fallen orange and brown leaves
Backyard, fall: leaf cleanup and a last cut before winter.
